Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable class-A CDL Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. As an OTR Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances. This is a crucial role in our company's supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

STARTING SALARY $70,000 ANNUALLY

Location:

-travel and on site (Spruce Pine, NC)

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle

- Load and unload cargo from the truck

- Plan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery schedules

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck

- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status

- Complete necessary paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts

Skills:

- Experience driving refrigerated trailers or other specialized equipment

- Ability to load and unload cargo using proper techniques

- Proficient in route planning and navigation

- Familiarity with flatbed, forklift, or roll-off truck operations is a plus

- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols

- Basic automotive repair skills for minor maintenance on the truck

Requirements:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

-Multi-state weight capacity knowledge and weigh-station procedures with dry good runs

- Clean driving record with no major violations
