• NICU/ Level II SCN Training preferred

On-call per unit needs. 36 hours not gauranteed. Southwest General may low census up to one (1) 12hr shift per 2-week pay period. 
HCP must be able to be at hospital in 30 minutes if calledd off for low census

Position Overview

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) is responsible for providing exceptional, patient-centered care to expectant mothers and their newborns. The L&D RN supports patients through all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and successful childbirth experiences.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery or women’s health nursing preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
