Compensation:

• Weekly Guarantee: $1,600 per week
  • Miles Pay: 53 CPM with 2000 Miles per Week
  • Stops Pay: $24.00 per Stop with 35 Stops per Week
  • Per diem pay:  $26.52 per night with 2 - 3 nights per Week
    • Overnights in Ryder booked hotel or sleeper

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home weekly, including weekends
  • Monday – Friday, 2-3 nights out per week
• Route:  IL, IN, MI, OH, MO, WI, MN, IA, KS
  • Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or sleeper
• Steel & metal products (securement required)

Equipment:

• Late model trucks
• 48'–53' Conestoga, curtainside, flatbed
• Equipment: Electric Pallet Jack
• Manual transmission
• 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL A License
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • 6 months of flatedbed experience required
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Must live within 30 miles of University Park, IL
