Registered Nurse / RN – Labor & Delivery – Night Shift

This full-time Registered Nurse position in Labor & Delivery offers the opportunity to provide expert care to mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, and post-partum recovery. Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (BSN preferred)
• Active RN license in the State of Texas
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NRP and Fetal Heart Monitoring course completion (required or must be obtained shortly after hire)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and cesarean-section patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout all stages of care
• Administer medications, including epidurals and oxytocin, and manage IVs
• Assist physicians with deliveries and emergency obstetric procedures
• Educate and support patients and families through the birthing process
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care and response to interventions
• Foster a calm, respectful, and collaborative environment to support patients, families, and the care team

Schedule:

• Full-Time Position
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Variable days of the week
