How you'll make an impact in this role Clinical Leadership: Coordinate unit staffing and lead specialized nursing areas to ensure high-quality patient care and clinical objectives are met. Shift & Resource Management: Direct, educate, and assign duties to nursing and support staff while securing necessary materials, resources, and supplies. Patient Care Planning: Assess daily patient needs to create appropriate care assignments, optimize productivity, and adjust to shifting patient and physician dynamics. Issue Resolution: Exercise independent judgment to resolve patient care complaints through established organizational channels. Staff Development: Provide valuable input regarding the hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of unit staff. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred. Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
