Traveler Nursing Position

For holiday coverage, travelers are required to work two of the following:

Thanksgiving and Friday/weekend after Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and Friday/weekend after New Year Eve/New Year Day and Friday/weekend after

Note – extensions that are requested to end in November or before the holiday starts in December will not be considered for an extension at the beginning of 2026

This license is required by the state of MA in order to staff for temporary needs. Berkshire Health System will not consider any traveler who resides within 50 miles of facility. To avoid delays in processing, please include perm address at profile upload.

ACLS, NRP, and BLS must be in hand and included in profile upload. Facility will not pend upon offer. This is non-negotiable

Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload will not be approved!! No more than 3 days of RTO will be accepted (less is better).

COVID vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) now required for this health system. Exemption forms are available in Trio/Downloadable Forms (both forms require provider/religious leader signatures), or please ask your delivery team for documents. If approved by healthsystem traveler will wear a mask at all times while on site. To avoid delays in processing, please include traveler COVID vaccination card/or intent to fill out exemption form with profile submission. Thank you!

8hrs non-billable orientation Holiday and OT multipliers - 1.25%

Requirement description:

• 2 years current L & D experience
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• ACLS, NRP and BLS must be in hand at profile upload. Please include in profile. Facility will not pend upon offer - this is non-negotiable
• Perm address must be included with profile
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
• Any/all RTO must be included in profile. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Facility will not approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal.
