Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. In this role, you will provide safe and efficient medical transportation for patients, ensuring high-quality care during transit to and from medical appointments or healthcare facilities.
The ideal candidate prioritizes patient safety, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and provides respectful, patient-centered care at all times.
Responsibilities
Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities
Provide basic life support (BLS) and emergency medical care as needed
Monitor patient condition during transport and respond appropriately
Assist patients with mobility, including lifting and transferring when necessary
Work collaboratively with drivers and team members to ensure patient safety
Maintain accurate patient care reports and transport documentation
Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections
Ensure all medical equipment is clean, stocked, and in proper working condition
Adhere to all company policies, EMS protocols, and local/state regulations
Qualifications
Valid EMT Certification (required)
Current CPR/BLS Certification (required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift and assist patients safely
Willingness to work flexible hours, including long shifts if needed
Compensation
Starting pay: $25.00 per hour
