TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Driver  to support Local  operations based in Covington, VA .
Temp-to-hire:  This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL-A Driver  Details:

• Schedule:  (5-day schedule (driver can choose Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, or Sun-Thurs) / 1st Shift (5am-7am start) / home daily
• Pay:  $27 Per hour
• Route Type:  Local
• Freight / Load Type:  General Freight, can be hazmat 
• Equipment:  Tractor Trailer, Dry Van, Automatic
• Handling:  No-touch

CDL-A Driver  Minimum Requirements:

• License:  CDL-A 
• Experience:  2+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Endorsements:  Hazmat preferred, and is required within 90 days of being hired 
• Equipment Experience:  CDL-A tractor trailer
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL-A Driver  Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL-A tractor trailer on local routes
• Transport general freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
