Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a KS or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Unit consists of a 10-bed LDRP, 4-bed GYN/Post-op, 14 well-baby beds, and 3 Special Care Nursery beds
• Facility delivers approximately 900 births per year, supported by 2 OB/GYN physicians and 3 pediatricians
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Occasional floating to MS, ICU, and ER is expected (approximately 2-3 times per 13-week contract)
• Block scheduling is subject to review

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates must reside outside an 80-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• 13-week contract
