This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, with no call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in a dynamic healthcare environment. Our facility has a total of 32 beds in the unit and is staffed by approximately 150 nursing professionals. You will work within a framework that prioritizes patient safety and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and vital signs of patients during labor and delivery.
• Assist in childbirth procedures, including C-Sections and TOLAC.
• Provide emotional support and education to mothers and families.
• Perform intermediate fetal monitoring and manage labor and delivery interventions.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Novii, JADA, and fetal monitoring systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and STABLE certifications.
• Experience with Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and C-Section circulation.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
