MLR is looking for a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team! You'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their families in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients during labor, including tracking vital signs and fetal heart rate.
• Assist with labor and delivery , including medication administration, pain management, and supporting deliveries.
• Educate families on the labor process, delivery options, and postpartum care.
• Work with obstetricians, midwives, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and efficient delivery experience.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or complications in accordance with protocols.
• Ensure a sterile and safe environment by following hospital infection control guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain).
• Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
