Job Summary:
- Patient population includes, Females of childbearing years, pregnant 17 weeks gestation, laboring, scheduled procedures (C-sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage (we try not to do these on the unit)), and Triage issues.
- The activity on the unit includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and deliveries (vaginal and C/S).
- Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes Fetal Monitors, Cerner and Fetalink documentation.
- BLS & ACLS - Required.
- NRP - Required.
- AWHONN - Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring - Required.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required.
- L&D Experience - Required: 2 Years.
- Client Experience Required.
- Must live 100 miles away.
