CDL Ready-Mix Truck Driver

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

Ready to Drive. Must possess a commercial driver's license and have a valid DOT physical or the ability to get one.

Knowledge of Best Practices. Knowledge of general principles and practices of operating and servicing ready-mix trucks is preferred. Experience with Department of Transportation rules and regulations is preferred.

Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.

Customer Focus. Must be able to take responsibility for customer relationships and appropriately represent Vulcan on job sites and while transporting product on public streets and highways.

Clean Driving Record. Must have a clean and safe driving record and the ability to safely operate and control equipment while on the job.

Hourly Range: the hourly range for this role is between $24.50 - $35.16. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
