Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,200 per week

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Fort Myers, Florida.

Job Description & Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Must be able to manage high-acuity patients independently
• Bachelor’s degree required OR minimum 5 years of experience (degree accreditation must be on profile)
• Must live more than 50 miles from facility (radius rule applies)

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required and must be completed/passed)

Preferred Certifications

• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• EFM Certification

Unit Details

• 19-bed Labor & Delivery unit
• Patient ratio: 1–2 patients per RN
• EMR: Epic
• Scrub color: Galaxy Blue and/or White
• High-acuity patient population

Schedule & Hours

• 12-hour day shifts (3x12 schedule)
• Call requirement: 12 hours per 6-week scheduling period

Facility Expectations

• Floating required to other units and sister campuses as needed
• Travelers are first to float
• Must function as core staff
• Culture fit is highly important

Compliance Notes

• Epic experience preferred
