Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. Willing to obtain is allowed.
• Certifications ACLS. Willing to obtain allowed for ACLS.
• Certifications BLS. Willing to obtain allowed for BLS.
• Certifications NRP. Willing to obtain allowed for NRP.
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery in last 3 years.
• EMR Must have experience with EMRs.
• Skills Assessment LAD skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to manage a 3 couplet assignment is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with triage of obstetrical patients is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with external fetal heart monitoring (EFM) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to start and maintain peripheral IVs is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to administer antihypertensives and insulin drips is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to assist with vaginal deliveries is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to recover C-sections is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with APGAR scores is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience as a baby nurse (baby catcher) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to collect cord samples is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with ID/security banding is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with radiant warmers and thermoregulation is required.
• Additional Confirmations Ability to perform newborn assessments is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with epidural anesthesia, pain assessment, and management is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with postpartum care and procedures, including mother/baby postpartum care, is required.
• Additional Confirmations I confirm I have all the following experience: proficiency in triage of obstetrical patients and use of External Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) Must have experience starting/maintaining peripheral IVs and administering Antihypertensives and Insulin drips Must have experience assisting with vaginal delivery and recovering C-sections Must have proficiency in APGAR scores, newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and ID/security banding Must have experience with Epidural Anesthesia and pain management Must have Cerner/PowerChart EMR experience
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
