Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring an active CA RN license, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
• Primary assignment involves caring for laboring patients, with potential need to circulate in C-section cases
• Triage responsibilities are not required for travel nurses in this role
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Sunday through Saturday
• 3x12-hour shifts per week

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring/AWHONN (certification must have been issued within the past 2 years)
• Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Supported by an in-house anesthesia team, mentor group, resource nurses, break nurses, and a lactation team
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
