Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – 8-week contract in Downtown Philadelphia, PA. BSN and active Pennsylvania RN license required. Join our maternity nursing team delivering exceptional perinatal care.

Job Details

• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shifts: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 – $2,370
• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19107 (Downtown Philadelphia; Philadelphia healthcare jobs / Pennsylvania nursing jobs)

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN (L&D / OB) experience
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; experience in collaborative, multidisciplinary maternity care teams

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns (maternity nurse, perinatal care)
• Monitor patient status, fetal monitoring, and respond to changes in condition
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
