Unit Overview:

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, peds

Specialty: Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Peds, Gyn 

Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend 

Call Requirements: none 

Float Requirements: Yes 

Number of Beds: 3 LDR, 4 Triage, 2 Ante-partum, 10 Post partum/Gyn/peds 

Patient Ratios: based on acuity 

Equipment: Philips fetal monitors with OB Trave Vue 

EHR: MediTech

Requirements:

3YRS+ Exp Working in Specialty 

3YRS+ Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting 

ACTIVE BLS (AHA)

ACTIVE ACLS (AHA)

ACTIVE PALS (AHA)

NRP 

STABLE

AWHON Fetal Monitoring 

Must have Skillset/Exp-Labor & Delivery , Mother/Baby, PEDS & GYN

Preferred 3yrs of Charge Exp
