Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience
• Experience in postpartum and antepartum care; comfort with fetal monitoring and labor progression
• Willingness to work night shifts and take call as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal health using fetal monitoring (EFM), administer medications, and assist with deliveries (vaginal and C-section support)
• Support postpartum and antepartum patients with compassionate, evidence-based care, including newborn initial assessments
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal perinatal outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation, timely charting, and uphold hospital standards of safety and quality
