Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery
- Assist physicians during vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergency obstetric procedures
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management interventions
- Educate patients and families on childbirth, recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Respond quickly to obstetric emergencies and neonatal complications
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Active RN license (AZ or compact state license preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of L&D / LDRP experience required
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and call rotation
- Flu vaccine required with no exceptions
- Must live outside the facility's 100-mile radius requirement
- RTO limited to 3 days per 13-week contract
- Competitive weekly pay package of approximately $2,531/week
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
