Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery is responsible for managing care for obstetric patients and coordinating the nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, nursing practice, and applicable regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the labor and delivery and postpartum units.
• Utilize Fetal Link system for fetal monitoring according to AWOHNN guidelines.
• Circulate for cesarean sections and assist obstetricians as needed.
• Float to postpartum units as needed; assess and manage antepartum and postpartum needs.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS Certification, Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWOHNN), and NRP required.
• C-section experience required; scrubbing experience preferred.
• 12-hour night shifts required; every other weekend first to float.
• COVID Vaccine Required.
