CDL A Flatbed Driver Details

Schedule: M-F; 2AM to 5AM start time

Pay: $35/hour + OT

Route Type: local

Freight / Load Type: hauling metal

Equipment: automatic day cabs, flatbed trailers

Handling: strapping
CDL A Flatbed Driver Minimum Requirements:
-
License: CDL A
-
Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

Equipment Experience: flatbed
-
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)

Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Flatbed Driver Responsibilities:
-
Safely operate 40' - 53' flatbed trailers with automatic day cabs on local routes

Transport metal in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

Perform required handling tasks including strapping, occasionally tarping
-
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
-
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
-
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping and occasionally tarping
