Local Route CDL A Hazmat Driver - $29.10 Per Hour
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Enfield, CT. 
This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 
CDL A Details 
~ Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10pm - 12pm Start time
~ Pay:  $29.10 Per hour, $1,000 - $1,300 Estimated weekly pay
~ Route Type: Local deliveries to NY, ME, VT, NH, and MA
~ Freight / Load Type: Car batteries and palletized freight
~ Equipment: Straight Truck 28' and 53' Trailer with liftgates
~ Handling: Touch freight, electric pallet jack unload, occasional hand unload when a dock is not available
CDL A Minimum Requirements:
~ License: CDL A
~ Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 
Endorsements:  Hazmat
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 
CDL A Responsibilities:
~ Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 
~ Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
~ Perform required handling tasks including electric pallet jack unload
~ Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
~ Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
~ Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
~ Meet the physical demands of the role, including (lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable)
