Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring full L&D and postpartum experience, AWHONN Intermediate certification, and night shift availability.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend requirement, or a minimum of 8 weekend shifts per contract
- No on-call requirements
- Floating may be required, including serving as a CPO sitter in-house and floating to a northern campus low-risk family birthing unit
- Staffed according to AWHONN Staffing Standards alongside break RNs and Resource RNs
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active Oregon (OR) RN license required — pending licensure not accepted
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN Intermediate
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Full Labor & Delivery and postpartum experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — proof of address required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the duration of the contract
- Local candidates are not accepted — must live beyond a 75-mile radius of the facility
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained will be required
