Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LDRP (Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby) position in Nashville, TN, requiring comfort with a correctional patient population and night shift availability.

Details

• LDRP unit within a hospital setting
• Travelers will float between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units
• Patient population includes the correctional/prison population — comfort with this setting is required
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:45–07:15
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN or Compact license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI), NIH Stroke Scale, AWHONN, and NRP
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Both L&D and Mother Baby experience required
• Must be comfortable working with a correctional/prison patient population
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of two 8-hour shifts followed by two 12-hour department-specific orientation shifts
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
