Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A LOWBOY DRIVER to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading heavy equipment safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of route navigation, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the equipment.
Job Functions:

• Work and operate tractor and trailer safely and adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations and policies.
  
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and lowboy trailer.
  
• Operate various types of heavy equipment including excavators, graders, dozers, off-rd. trucks, etc.
  
• Safely load, secure, and unload equipment as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, managers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
  
• Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely delivery to specific job sites.
  
• Maintain accurate digital paperwork for timesheets and vehicle DVIR's.
  
• Adhere to all traffic laws and DOT and company safety regulations and policies.
  
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL, up-to-date medical card, and registered in the FMCSA Clearinghouse-drug and alcohol program.
  
• Must be accepted by our insurance company.
  
• Must be able to effectively communicate, read and write in English.
  
• Minimum 3 yrs experience with lowboy trailers and heavy equipment hauling.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  
• Good communication skills for effective communications with job site personnel and team members.
