Pay: $70-$75 per hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team . The RN will provide skilled, patient-centered care to women during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, ensuring safe delivery and high-quality maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery, including monitoring maternal and fetal well-being.
Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
Administer medications, IVs, and epidurals under provider direction.
Educate and support patients and families on labor, birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
Respond to emergencies such as fetal distress, hemorrhage, or eclampsia with critical thinking and rapid interventions.
Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and NICU staff.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN License
BSN degree preferred
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
Basic/AWHONN Intermediate Fetal monitoring certification preferred
Mother and baby experience.
Postpartum and vaginal examination experience a plus.
Charting system: EPIC
