Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to labor and delivery patients, maintaining compliance with ACOG and California staffing ratios.
• Coordinate with the charge nurse for patient triage and manage patient assignments effectively.
• Utilize Cerner EMR and Cerner Fetal Links for documentation and fetal monitoring.
• Work in collaboration with OB technicians and assist in postpartum rotations.
• Assist in patient triage and support lactation care plans in conjunction with lactation nurses.
• Ensure patient safety with the use of infant security systems and translation services where necessary.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in California.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications mandatory.
• Experience with Cerner charting system.
• Capable of managing care for diverse patient populations and utilizing translation services.
• Willingness to work required shifts, including nights and every other weekend.
