Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) | Nights
Shift: Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 hrs/week

Unit Highlights
  • 34-bed Birthing Center / Mother Baby Unit
  • 150–180 births/month (~2,100+ annually)
  • 2 C-section OR suites + 2 triage beds
  • AWHONN ratios: 1:2 (L&D), 1:3–4 (couplets)
  • EPIC Charting System
  • 24/7 in-house OB, anesthesia & neonatal support
Responsibilities
  • Provide care across Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP)
  • Independently attend deliveries and assist with newborn transition
  • Circulate in C-sections
  • Manage high-risk patients (preeclampsia, diabetes, etc.)
  • Titrate drips (Magnesium, Pitocin, Insulin)
  • Collaborate with OB team for safe, high-quality outcomes
✅ Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years L&D experience (no first-time travelers)
  • Strong LDRP experience required
  • Comfortable with deliveries + C-section circulation
  • Experience with high-risk OB patients
  • Must provide 2 years of references at submission
Certifications Required
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Fetal Heart Monitoring (Intermediate/Advanced preferred)
