• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) or perinatal nursing experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Completion of specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Required immunizations: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella
• Physical/Health Statement and respirator fit test required for onboarding
• 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-spot) required
• Successful completion of background check and drug screen
• Comfortable with maternal-fetal monitoring and electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert Labor & Delivery nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, interpret fetal heart tracings, and escalate concerns to physicians and midwives
• Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and obstetric procedures
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions per protocol
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and effective handoffs in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (obstetrics, pediatrics, anesthesia) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
