Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.
This role requires taking care of patients who are females of childbearing years and pregnant women, including those who are 17 weeks gestation and laboring.
The Nurse will assist with scheduled procedures such as C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage.
Triage issues will also be part of the responsibilities.
Daily activities include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries, both vaginal and via C-section.
Common equipment used on the unit includes fetal monitors and documentation systems.
Experience with Cerner and Fetalink documentation is required.
