Warehouse Clerk needed immediately!

PrideStaff is urgently seeking a reliable, high-energy Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a Temp-to-Hire role in the Hoover, AL area. Strong attention to detail is essential for success in this role.

Pay Rate: $17.00 an hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location: Hoover, AL
Duration: Temp to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-shift safety and maintenance checks on the forklift.
• Receive, process, and accurately log incoming stock into inventory.
• Accurately pull, pack, and process orders for business-to-business (B2B) delivery.
• Identify and check cargo against packing lists and verify outbound shipments using Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with physical inventory counts as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Sit-down forklift operator experience (certification preferred).
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and reliably.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Physical ability to sit for prolonged periods while operating the forklift.
• Compliance with all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including wearing steel-toed boots.
• Must be willing to work in a dusty or dirty environment.
• Basic computer experience is preferred but not required.
