Job Description:

This role requires Registered Nurses to provide specialized care in labor and delivery settings. Nurses will handle a variety of birthing scenarios and assist in different stages from labor to postpartum care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients in the birthing center and mother baby units.
• Attend deliveries independently and assist with C-sections.
• Assist in the transition and care of newborns.
• Function in postpartum with routine mom and baby competencies.
• Administer and titrate medications such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin.

Requirements:

• Must have LDRP experience and be comfortable with delivery procedures.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience, though 1 year may be considered with prior travel experience.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP required.
• Preferred intermediate or advanced FHM certification.
