Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - L&D to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and manage labor progress using specialized equipment.
• Participate in labor inductions, C-sections, and other obstetric procedures.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medication, including oxytocin and pain management protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through compassionate care and communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN certifications.
• Proficiency with Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, and telemetry equipment.
• Experience in circulating during C-section operations.
• Strong competency in Meditech EMR system.
• Compassionate and solutions-oriented personality preferred.
