SURGICAL TECHNICIAN OPPORTUNITY

Assists surgeon by passing sterile articles, retracting tissue, counting and handling of surgical specimens; remains alert to and safeguards against patient injury from electrical/mechanical hazards while guarding asepsis.

Reports to Nurse Manager

Supervises N/a

Required Education: Minimum: High School Graduate. Graduation from a formal accredited surgical technician training program.

Required Experience: Preferred: Two years surgical technician experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry: Certified Surgical Tech Certification required.
