Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and baby.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed during labor to manage pain and facilitate delivery.
• Monitor and document fetal and maternal vital signs and progress during labor, utilizing standard assessment tools and technology.
• Assist in cesarean sections and other surgical procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement a patient-centered care plan.
• Educate patients and families on post-delivery care and newborn care practices.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Colorado or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience including circulator for C-section
• Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Available for on-call shifts and able to float between units as required
• Experience in clinical leadership and mentoring preferred
