Cibola General Hospital in Grants, NM is seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team! Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess laboring patients, including vital signs and fetal heart rate.
• Provide hands-on care during labor, including administering medications, supporting deliveries, and managing pain relief options.
• Educate patients and families about the labor and delivery process, as well as postpartum care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality delivery outcomes.
• Accurate documentation of patient care, ensuring thorough records throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or complications, adhering to established protocols.
• Maintain a sterile and clean environment in compliance with hospital infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
