Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Labor/Delivery unit is responsible for providing care to med-high risk patients. The role requires adherence to AWHONN guidelines, handling common titratable and set rate drips, and operating within a team including OB/Neonatologist 24/7 in-house.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in Labor/Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby units.
• Monitor patients according to medical need and AWHONN guidelines.
• Titrate drips as required within the unit.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including house supervisors and nurse aids.
• Utilize Centricity EFM System for patient monitoring.
• Utilize charting system EPIC for documentation.

Requirements:

• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Experience in labor and delivery or Nursery level 2.
• Ability to read monitoring strips.
• Flexible with shift schedules including weekends and holidays.
