Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: May 25, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho region

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (17:00 - 05:00). This is a 13-week travel assignment ending August 24, 2026. Orientation is 36 hours, completed onsite.

Highlights:

• Labor and Delivery unit at a teaching hospital with 200-300 births per month
• Experience with high-risk antepartum patients and triage of obstetrical patients
• Hands-on role including assisting with high-risk deliveries, circulating for C-sections, and post-operative recovery
• Work with advanced maternal care including anticoagulation therapy, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy
• Unit accepts first-time travelers with appropriate experience and certifications
• Exposure to central line maintenance (CVC/PICC) and IUPC placement and calibration

Requirements:

• Active Idaho RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• Experience with electronic charting systems required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment
• Skills required: sterile vaginal exams, isolation precautions/PPE, triage, and C-section circulation and recovery
