Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Material Handler – Stand Up Forklift Operator for a company based in Calera, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow with the ability to train in other locations and grow your skills. It is a climate-controlled facility, and the company is family oriented.
Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Saturday, 6 00 am to 2 30 pm. / Must be available for MANDATORY overtime
Material Handler – Stand Up Forklift Operator Associate Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift to move materials, pallets, and products safely around the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Move inventory from receiving areas to storage racks and from storage to shipping areas.
• Scan and check shipments to ensure the correct products and quantities are received.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized by sweeping, removing debris, and clearing leftover pallets.

Material Handler – Stand Up Forklift Operator Associate Qualifications and Requirements

• Will request proof of High school diploma, GED or Transcript before able to start
• Valid forklift operator certification or license obtained through a recognized training program.
• Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable wearing a hair net and/or beard net.
• Ability to understand basic mathematical measurements.
• Attention to detail.
