CDL-A Solo Driver

Location: Holland, MI
Compensation:

• $.45 - $.48 CPM based on verifiable experience
  
• Additional earnings through stop pay, pickup pay, detention pay, and bonuses
  
• Average annual earnings of $90,000

Home Time

• 34-hour guaranteed home time
  
• Average 48 hours home weekly

Important Requirement:
Drivers must live within a 150-mile radius of Holland, Michigan and be able to report to the Holland terminal twice per week.

What You ll Do:

• Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle
  
• Transport LTL and truckload freight on scheduled routes
  
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  
• Follow FMCSA and DOT regulations at all times
  
• Communicate consistently with dispatch regarding load updates and trip status
  
• Coordinate pickup and delivery procedures with customers and shipping partners
  
• Maintain bills of lading, proof of delivery paperwork, fuel receipts, and trip documentation
  
• Monitor road and weather conditions and communicate delays or concerns to operations
  
• Represent Green Transportation professionally with customers and team members

Equipment & Work Environment:
Drive with comfort in mind in Green Transportation s modern fleet:

• 2020 and newer Volvo VNL tractors
  
• Refrigerator and inverter included
  
• Dynamic steering and upgraded driver comfort features

What We re Looking For:
Required Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license
  
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience
  
• Strong safety mindset and knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
  
• Ability to communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  
• Must live within 150 miles of Holland, MI
  
• Must be able to report to the Holland terminal twice weekly
  
• U.S. work authorization required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Transportation and logistics experience
  
• Experience with LTL and truckload freight
  
• Knowledge of BOLs, PODs, and transportation documentation
