Job Summary and Responsibilities
$15,000 Sign on bonus offered for fully qualified new hires. Current employees are not eligible, per policy.
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

  • Assessment: Performs total body and system assessment each shift/visit according to unit standards.
  • Care of Patient: Including planning, implementing, evaluating and educating.
  • Clinical/Technical Skills: Utilizes technology, procedures, protocols, standards and interventions specific to assigned unit.
  • Documentation: Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation according to policies and procedures. Proficient and competent with the computerized documentation system.
  • Leadership: Accepts responsibility and accountability for own decisions and behaviors. Recognizes, accepts and cooperates with direction from facility leadership.
  • Precepting/Mentoring: Participates in orientation of new staff, ancillary personnel and mentors students in a constructive and positive manner. Serves as resource to staff from other nursing departments.
Job Requirements
Required
  • Associate Of Nursing ADN
  • (1) year labor and delivery experience required in an acute care setting. (Exception: When the unit is staffed with enough experienced nurses to support a trainee or graduate nurse, applicants without requisite experience may be considered).
  • Registered Nurse: CA (CA RN)
  • Basic Life Support CPR (BLS) through the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association within 90 Days
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 90 Days
  • AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course every two years thereafter or obtain NCC Fetal Monitoring Certification and
    maintain as specified. (Basic AWHONN fetal monitoring acceptable at hire, but must complete the Intermediate AWHONN course within 6 months hire ).
Preferred
  • 1 year Labor and delivery C/Section/PACU, OBED, Postpartum/Newborn Nursery Unit experience.
