Travel RN – Labor & Delivery | 4x12 Nights | High-Volume LDRP

If you’re a confident L&D nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, this is a strong opportunity to work full-scope LDRP with consistent ratios and a supportive team.

Job Overview

Specialty: Labor & Delivery RN
Schedule: 4x12s (Night Shift)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
Setting: Acute Care Hospital (LDRP Unit)

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope Labor & Delivery and postpartum care
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections
• Administer medications including magnesium sulfate and insulin drips
• Perform triage and ongoing patient assessments
• Educate patients and families throughout labor and recovery
• Collaborate with OB, NICU, and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

• Active RN license (CA required, in hand)
• BLS, ACLS, NRP required
• AWHONN Intermediate required (Advanced preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
• Must have both labor and postpartum experience (hard requirement)
• Prior travel experience required

Additional Details

• Patient ratio: 1:3
• High-volume unit (200–300 births/month)
• Floating required within unit/affiliates
• Epic charting required
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

Labor + postpartum experience required (no exceptions). Travel experience required. Epic experience required. Must have CA license in hand at submission.
