Certifications: BLS Provider certification, Neonatal Resuscitation certification, Advanced Life Support, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
Must-Have:
- 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service
- BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Registered Nurse license
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics
- Advanced Life Support certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
Description:
This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.
The facility is a Level IV Client Designation with a busy and fast-paced environment.
There are 20 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery suites alongside 4 C-section suites.
There are also 10 Triage rooms and 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms available.
The service performs over 500 deliveries per month.
24-hour in-house coverage is provided by attending OBs and anesthesia personnel.
The facility also has NICU coverage and a Perinatal Transport Program.
The team is looking for someone with 3-5 years of perinatal clinical experience in high volume delivery service preferred.
Certification in the S.T.A.B.L.E program and an Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification is also preferred.
An Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school is required.
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
