Required Qualifications (Labor & Delivery RN)

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) or obstetrics experience
• BLS certification (required)
• COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella vaccinations, and 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot) required for onboarding
• Fit test and current physical/health statement required for onboarding
• Successful completion of background check and competency testing

Key Responsibilities (L&D / Perinatal Nursing)

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret vital signs and fetal heart tracings, administer medications, and assist with procedures
• Collaborate closely with obstetricians, midwives, neonatal team, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes
• Perform newborn assessments and support immediate postpartum care and breastfeeding initiation
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and uphold patient confidentiality and safety standards
