Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery care, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with high-risk deliveries as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Administer medications, including antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and address any abnormalities promptly.
• Maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care effectively.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required; AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting; experience in a Magnet facility preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system desirable.
• Ability to perform required specialized procedures, including handling high-risk antepartum cases.
• Must not be 1st-time traveler; demonstrated ability to circulate is essential.
