Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (17:00 - 05:00). Contract duration: 91 days (approximately 13 weeks). Orientation: 36 hours onsite.

Highlights:

• High-volume Labor and Delivery unit with 200-300 births per month
• Teaching hospital environment with exposure to high-risk antepartum and obstetrical care
• Comprehensive skill set including triage, sterile vaginal exams, IUPC placement and calibration, and central line maintenance
• Opportunity to assist with high-risk deliveries, circulate and recover C-sections
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Travel assignment with competitive compensation package

Requirements:

• Active Idaho RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• Experience with electronic charting systems required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment
• Proficiency in high-risk obstetrical care including magnesium sulfate therapy, anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, and insulin drips
