Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Oregon, requiring prior travel experience and proficiency in LDRP, C-section circulating, and postpartum care.
Job Details
• Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting,
• Patient ratios of 1:1-1:2 on both day and night shifts,
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30, variable days of the week,
• Weekend shifts required on an as-needed basis, though not every weekend,
• Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis,
• No on-call responsibilities,
• Floating within the unit and across the health system is required - refusal to float may result in contract cancellation,
• Documents and charts using Epic EMR,
Job Requirements
• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required; pending license accepted with proof of OR license application and fingerprints,
• Current certifications required: BLS and NRP,
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required,
• Prior travel nursing experience required,
• LDRP experience required,
• Level I Nursery experience required,
• C-section circulating experience required,
• Postpartum care experience required,
• Epic EMR experience preferred,
Additional Information
• Scrubs are provided for L&D; no t-shirts in lieu of scrubs, and black or camouflage scrub colors are not permitted,
• All assigned education modules must be completed within the first week of the assignment,
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space,
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of any Legacy Health facility,
• RTO must be finalized prior to consideration; no RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment, and no more than 7 days of RTO total per assignment,
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
