Job Description:

The RN in Labor/Delivery is responsible for providing patient care to a high-risk patient population, including those with high BMI, HTN, Hemorrhage, and Preeclampsia. The role includes circulating and recovering C-sections, with the requirement to float to MB/PP. RNs must be able to read strips and titrate drips such as insulin.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Circulate and recover C-sections
• Read strips along with CNM and OB physician
• Titrate and monitor set rate drips such as insulin

Requirements:

• BLS, NRP, and Advanced EFM certifications required
• Experience with high-risk patient population preferred
• Ability to float to MB/PP
