Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2700
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - L&D
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment starting as soon as possible
• Weekend requirements: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed
• Holiday rotations required every other holiday
• Float requirements to OB and L&D units, with potential floating to Med/Surg, ER, or ICU for supportive tasks only (vital signs, answer call lights, patient histories) - no patient assignments or isolation rooms
• May need to float to other Aspirus locations in Southern region if needed
• No on-call or backup requirements, though additional shifts may be available for sick calls
• Required certifications: BLS, Advanced NRP, Wisconsin RN license (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Preferred certifications: AWHONN and PALS
• Minimum 2 years OB experience with L&D experience required
• 1 travel assignment required
• Critical access hospital experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be labor and delivery competent
• Work with 2 labor rooms and 6 post-partum beds in Level 1 maternity/Level 1 nursery
• Care for post-op GYN patients with approximately 100 annual births
• Follow AWHONN staffing guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios
• Provide labor, post-partum, and newborn nursery care
• Any scrub colors acceptable, provided if entering surgery
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• May be placed on call for low census with call back minimum of 2 hours
• Will not accommodate more than 7 days of requested time off
• Must wear mask at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccinations
